Mickey’s Majorettes was established in 1992 by Patti Mickey. It all began with a small group of young girls who were interested in learning about baton twirling. These girls performed as a group at recitals and marched in several local parades. Through the years many teams and individual athletes have trained under the direction of Patti. Mrs. Mickey’s focus with individual instruction allows each girl and young lady to excel and grow at her own pace. Many of her current young ladies have reached the highest ability level in baton twirling. Additionally Patti has had numerous State, Regional, and Nationally recognized baton twirlers. Several of Mickey’s Majorette alumni have become outstanding young ladies and have given credit to the sport of baton twirling and Mickey’s Majorettes in assisting them in reaching their goals.
